Enjoyed 3 nights of luxury during 5 weeks in France. Loved the quiet location (car GPS needed to find it the first time), but only a short drive into Carcassonne. Our junior suite was huge with contemporary but classic décor; separate shower & big bath, and toilet; king-size bed; block out shutters & thick walls so we slept well. Free coff

We received an excellent welcome from the owner who supplied us with full information about the area which we wouldn't have got from a travel book.
The chateau has been restored into a contemporary hotel with excellent fittings and wi fi. Our suite was very large, comfortable and quiet. The hotel is about an 8 minute drive from Carcassonne. It is worth visiting the Canal du Midi at Trebes and the picturesque Legrasse.

Excellent value at the Hotel Montmorency but great bonus to be able to use the facilities of the Hotel Du Chateau. the suite was great, a good size and the huge bath tub and wet room were lovely. the hotel gardens are very classy and the location next to the entrance to the walled city was perfect to stroll to. The car park is secure which was important to us. -

We love to stay in this apartment as the room is spacious with many kitchen equipments (except water boiler). My dad could take care of himself with cooking tools while my mom and I were not around. The location was perfect. Very close to the castle.
The access is very good to go walking. Not recomended to go to the castle with the baby trolley but this has nothing to do with the hotel/appartment.

Great price, free secure carpark comfy bed and its a 15min walk to La Cite. But In the hot summer sun the walk to La Cite is punishing. No footpath or shelter, older travelers should be careful. Because of this we drove our car back to La Cite at 8pm, and the was free at this time in the evening.

The staff at aragon were really friendly so even though we were unlucky with the weather they lent us umbrellas. The location is excellent a 2 minute walk to the medieval castle entrance. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. The bedroom on the first floor looked out on the Old City & the view was stupendous day or night. The swimming pool was faultless and a sun-trap for those who want it with some shaded areas. The hotel was very close to the Old City and a five minute walk away. The city of Carcassonne was a twenty minute walk into town and the car was not required after arrival.

of a double one - and they were very accomodating, and quick in finding
a solution. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment and it was very clean
