  Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we stepped inside this beautifully restored 16th Century French guest house we felt at home. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and delightfully decorated. It was a wonderful experience I am so glad I bo - This is a very funky place. House has some claim to being the oldest in Orleans, and could be marketed as a museum with its enormous beams and crooked joists in the ceilings, leaded windows, and narrow spiral staircase with 3" thick treads. Two large rooms, one on the 3rd, one on the 4th floor. Lots of miscellaneous furniture in each. Nichole was very entertaining, full of anecdotes and opinions. Also very helpful. Wonderful breads at breakfast.

  Rooms were recently refurbished and freshly decorated. We had two adjoining rooms for a family of 5, the layout was excellent. The decor was quirky but a lot of thought had gone into it - the kids loved the Tintin theme in their room! He sorted out our car parking personally for us, which was much appreciated as the redevelopment of the tram system is stressful for driving. Fine ,adequate breakfast.
