  Gorgeous spot, loved the view of the gorge from our room. Comfortable accomodation, excellent restaurant. Nice to swim in the permanent watering hole after a hot gorge walk. - Basic but great atmosphere. Great food was an unexpected surprise. Fabulous sunset on the rocks opposite rooms. A great end to a day of wonderful gorge walks.

  Great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were also great and I like that the place was surrounded with lots of trees and gardens so that staying there was very relaxing and laid back - very similar to the Darwin vibe.   The reception staff is the best. I forgot her name but she was excellent. Very efficient and friendly. Made sure I never missed anything including the pick up taxi even though she wasn't on duty. I booked a double bed accessible room with my own ensuite and the room was great value for money and fully accessible. I also loved that the aircon was so loud it blocked out most of the noise!   The service was excellent. Seb on the front desk is a proper local who is wise in the ways of all! My door swipe card was causing me probs after a very long flight, seb cheerfully showed me how to use the swipe card. Most people wouldnt have made such an effort. I was impressed how he remembered my name the next day, a small detail but given the amount of guests that pass thru, this is just a - As the name suggests it was a "Value Inn." It provided basic accommodation. The location was excellent being right in the centre of the CBD of Darwin. If you want cheap, reasonable accommodation then this is the hotel for you. If you are looking for four star quality, then go somewhere else.
