Very friendly live on site managers. Cleaning staff very friendly & pay excellent attention to room cleanliness & replenshiment of supplied items. Free Wi-Fi when required from front office. Will recommend to my friends & work mates when a quality well priced motel is required in Darwin!. Good location. To be fair, this is a hotel very recently under new management. I observed many improvements underway. I asked the owner about them and he told me of other improvements he planned to make.
kaikki arvostelut » I liked the value for money. Where else could you find cheaper in the CDB Darwin? It was clean and tidy. The man ay reception was very obliging. Checking in at 10:30pm was easy too. Hotel management is very friendly and understanding. Hotel is clean and location is very good. Overall it was a good decision and experience to stay in Poinciana Inn. Close to main shopping and entertainment area but far enough away to avoid the associated noise. bbq and pool area excellent. Jason couldn't do enough for us. very helpful staff, cut the price 50% off what was listed when I originally booked because they were willing to charge at the current 'special' rate. A friendly check-in at reception after a tiring day was most welcome. All queries met with good advice and a smile. Room was clean and adequate. The attention of the Manager and the responsiveness to my changing agenda and stay. Location is great central to everything. The room are equipped and spacious. I didnt like the comment left by the person complaning about kids running around as they were mine who had just endured a long trip. If you looking for peace and quiet.. Go somewhere else.. Its right by Mitchel Street. Parking but it is in the middle of the city. one night we had a fire alarm go off, very loudly! although we all left our rooms I thought we should all have been asked to go down to street level. My stay not long enough to check out the pool!. Parking is very limited. Somewhat dated and could do with renovation of the rooms and bathrooms. Nothin to complain about. Short on parking space. Too few staff. Lack of off street parking, although parking was available off street close to hotel. Rooms are very dated an limited parking. Location was extremely noisy at night - people on bicycle transports, playing very loud music made a habit of pedalling close to the motel in the early hours of the morning. Internet connection was also quite poor and kept dropping out. Location is a bit noisy and the rooms need a facelift. The vastly increased Police activity very near to the Hotel on Thursday and Friday night caused great concern to my Wife and Children. People noise at night both in the street and in the Inn. Children staying at the Inn still running around and playing in the corridors at 10.15 on a Tuesday night. The room I was in for a week was very dated. Deco 70's. Did not look anything like the room in the photo. Tap leaked for the whole week and I did report it. Having to go and ask for a WiFi login slip everyday (back to the dark ages). Very little off street parking. Quite old, needs reno. Lot of street noise from hotel patrons and street people into the early hours. The fact that I was charged one night more than I stayed, after speaking with the Manager and thought it was addressed, I was still charged an extra night..... when I arrived reception was close, I need call manager.nobody met me.very noise in the hotel at night. Smoking people outside room on shared balcony. Dirty stairways. Old building.
