The staff were very helpful and attentive . Our room was clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was excellent. It was nice to have a comfortable place to sit and chat with friends and a lovely garden to sit in too. We thoroughly enjoyed our nights stay at the hotel. Manager went over and above to make us feel welcome - we were in St Albans for the half marathon and he was more than happy to let us use the room again after check out time to shower after the race, which was very much appreciated.

Location was excellent - right by the M25 but by an old water mill and very scenic. Rooms were a very good size and the beds were as good as home. Also liked little details like the shower curtain on a curve to make it seem more spacious. This was our first premier inn break and we would definitely use them again. -
