I stayed two nights and had intended going into the city for the evenings but ate and drank in the pub instead, great food and cask ales I really enjoyed it - even the locals were friendly! I was there for research at a University college a mile or two away and it was raining so the

  Access to Internet was most important for me. The whole experience was very pleasant, dinner was in the pub section and very nice. - The friendly nauture of the owners/staff. The room was brilliant and very handy for Silverstone which is shy we were staying there.

  the location was excellent, a brief stroll from the Thames river. the bar, restaurant and room were excellent. although we spent most of our time in the room, when coming up for air, loved it all, would highly recommend. The only dubious feature was the room name - the sleazy salmon. - Excellent food in restaurant
