The room was brilliant, we had a family room so had a sofa and tv which made it really feel like home. When we arrived Jacqui made us a cup of tea and made us feel very welcome. The bathroom looked newly decorated with a lovely big bath, shower and heated towel rail with the softest towels I've ever felt, truly luxurious!

We have just spent a couple of days in this lovely B & B. We were met by Jacqui (the owner/manager) and offered tea and delicious cake. The room was lovely and the bathroom was very modern and fantastic (I really loved the shower!). We really enjoyed our breakfast and appreciated the fact that a lot of the food was home produced. The family were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help and give advice as where to go in the area as we were very new to it. We would definitely recommen

Top notch luxury B&B with spacious facilities. We got a large bedroom, luxury bathroom and lounge + garden for the price of a standard hotel room. Beautiful views, spotlessly clean and a very frienly owner - Sarah to look after us. -
We had our own dining room lovely bedroom and bathroom and even our own outside space with table and chairs.

Vicky was very friendly, sending us detailed directions and cooking a delicious breakfast. The cottage is perfect for 2 people, cosy and clean. The shower worked well and there was a TV with some DVDs. It was remote enough to enjoy the stars but close enough to enjoy Rye and the surrounding areas.

We received a very warm welcome and found Fern Lodge to have all the facilities we required. The location is ideal as a base for exploring the local area and the helpful advice from the proprietor led to some of the best fish and chips we have ever tasted. We shall certainly try and stay at Fern Lodge again when visiting the Kent coast. -

Arrived early and rang to see if we could check in early - no worries! Sharon was very accommodating with requests (stored our luggage after check out so we could have a look around before leaving) and called us a cab when we left. She was informative, talkative and bright and the breakfast provided was one of the best we have had in our travels.

We loved the room! It was very nicely decorated and the bathroom shower worked well. It was clean and met our needs for the night that we were there. The internet was good. The best was the wonderful English Breakfast! We would highly recommend this property and we would stay there again if we were ever lucky enough to go back to Dover!

Everything about the hotel and the staff. We had a comfortable and well decorated room in which to relax; loved the squashy leather settees and thoroughly enjoyed eating in the bar area as the staff were so efficient and friendly. The chef is a star - we ate on both nights of our stay, and both meals were a delight. Would highly recommend this hotel and would love to stay again.
