Everything about the hotel was first class. Staff very friendly and helpful, the service at all meals was very efficient and nothing was too much bother - even to making my husband a cooked breakfast earlier than breakfast was normally served. The food was excellent. The atmosphere at the hotel was calm and relaxing and the public areas had plenty of comfortable seating where you could just sit and absorb the beautiful scenery. It is also a short walk into Pitlochry.

Proprietor Angela is utterly charming and dedicated. The room was gorgeous with a view of the river to die for, our meal in the restaurant was delicious and our Scottish breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast I've ever eaten. -

My sister and I had a wonderful room which was very large and overlooked the River Tey. The sound puts you right to sleep. Restaurant was great - good food and good value. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Area is very beautiful. Our visit was in August 2013. -

Perfect place for a family vacation. Lots of space for kids to run around and no need to worry about them making noise since there's no one nearby to bother. A nice walk down the 18th fairway to reach the clubhouse for decent food. The town of Pitlochry is quite lovely with a surprising number of things to do. I wish our stay was longer! -

Very warm welcome from staff. We arrived early wet and tired and they kindly let us leave our bikes and wet bags in the hotel till our room was ready. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Service at breakfast great. Hotel set in quiet relaxing location away from main road. Owners very friendly and helpfull. Would stay here again -

A warm welcome and friendly staff. Huge en-suite room which was both clean and extremely comfortable. Good choice of breakfast which was well cooked. Accommodation was of a very high standard. Meals were served with timed bookings so we got great service when we needed it but were left to enjoy our meal as each course arrived. - Staff were excellent. Very polite,friendly and helpful. Meals were excellent and we would definitely stay again and recommend it to friends
