  The Hotel is within walking distance of the centre of the town, but far enough out to be quiet. I enjoyed my first stay there so much, Ive revisited 3 years in a row. Although I havent made use of all the facilities, they do have their own laundry, indoor and outdoor swimming pools.   I was bowled over by the friendliness and team-spirited nature of ALL of the staff I met - and also by their constant willingness to assist. Moreover, everyone was particularly welcoming to my two children (boys aged 14 and 11); which always makes a real difference to the holiday experience. All in all, I wished I - I originally picked the Hotel California because I liked the name, wanted to stay in Newquay and the price is a good value. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Interiors are beautiful. The dining room had lots of windows, so you can enjoy the scenery while dining. Beautiful view of the bay from the outside deck. The outdoor pool looked inviting, but the temperature was little to cool for me to try it. If I get a chance to go back to the U.K., I will definitely stay at the Hotel California
