In the heart of the New Forest National Park, Forest Side Guesthouse is a stunning family-run guest house, with free WiFi and free parking. Lyndhurst is a few minutes’ walk away. Each room is individually designed and offer views over the New Forest. The guest bedrooms have a TV and DVD player, a mini fridge, hospitality trays, a hairdryer and complimentary luxury toiletries. The guesthouse has retained many of its Victorian features and boasts a wooden staircase, stained glass windows, high ceilings and original fireplaces. Overlooking the gardens, the elegant dining room has a period fireplace and high ceilings. There is also a guest lounge with a TV and a DVD player. Guests can also enjoy the sun garden. A traditional English breakfast is served every morning, cooked to order with products that are locally sourced where available from small family businesses.

Beautiful room with all the facilities we have wished for in previous visits to different hotels. A lovely welcome, cosy, roomy and comfortable room at the very top just gorgeous. I just need an excuse to stay again when we live so close... Thoroughly recommended a wonderful treat for me and my dearest Thank you so much :). Mike & Teresa were very welcoming and had some great tips for us as well. It is an absolutely stunning house, nicely decorated with spacious rooms and modern bathrooms. We were impressed by the warm hospitality and the wonderful house! Breakfast was great too - would definitely recommend this place!!!.

Very well managed by friendly owners with lots of information on surrounding area available. Great Italian restaurant approx 150 yards from Temple Lodge with Lyndhurst a 5 minute walk away. A very comfortable bed with lots of pillows. A spotlessly clean room & bathroom. The Victorian house was beautiful with lots of original features. The friendly owners were helpful with advice about the area. Good breakfast, freshly cooked to order. The owners are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is superb and so many choices, were spoilt. It is very clean with large bath towels, comfortable bed. Location is great, walking distance to the High Street. Would definitely stay there again.. Very lovely spot, centrally located. I only asked if we could leave baggage and the possibility to have something light (or bring with us), they sorted out everything for us in the end, but it put me off by being told off not reading "the contract". Was it that unreasonable to ask? Other than that it was really good. some road noise. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Nothing. Main road outside was noisy on the weekday morning, so not ideal for a light sleeper. Possibly OK in other rooms that don't face the road, or on the weekend.
