Lo que la gente dice
Me and my teenage-daughter stayed for 3 nights in this fresh, recently
opened hotel, with a very easy access to all major areas via KingsCross
station. We had a tiny room on the 4th floor (top floor, no elevator).
Despite the size we had everything we needed, a soft and comfortable bed
with two pillows/person and a thick blanket. A big mirror and a hair
dryer. Relatively big lcd tv. Free wifi in the room that worked
perfectly. New towels daily. A big plus was that the bed was against the
wall a. todo comentarios »
It was a new hotel that was clean and ideally suited for me business trip it allowed me to drop of my bag before going off to my business meeting and collect it before catching the train home .It was well situated for transport It is a friendly designer budget hotel which I will defiantly and have recommended people to use. To me it plus point is vaule for money and cureent rate would be a factor in me using it again .
The place is freshly painted and clean. Friendly and helpful stuff. Our room was cleaned every day and towels changed. Excellent location (close to King's Cross St Pancras station). Fresh set of complimentary tea/coffee/water every day was also a nice touch. There was a continental socket in the wall (next to the standard British one) so no need for a converter.
The location was great, just a 2 minute walk from Kings Cross Station.
It was quiet too. The beds were comfortable! The staff was so nice. We
loved that the front desk was manned 24/7 and always willing to
help. They arranged for a cab to pick us up on our check-out day and
even came to knock on our door when the cab arrived. Thanks for the
pleasant stay!.
The location and the staffs are wonderful. Hotel is really neat.
However, the room is really tiny.
It's really good for those backpackers, both underground and train are near by the hotel. But if you are traveling with someone else, you might think twice about sharing the room.
Over all, it's nice but it would be better if the room is bigger (*˘︶˘*).
Staff were friendly and helpful compared to other hotels I've stayed
in the area. Free wifi was excellent. The bed was a double even though I
booked for a single and very comfortable. Ensuite bathroom very clean.
Things looked new. Even though room was small, everything was
comfortably placed. Convenient location from King's Cross.
Very clean rooms with a mini but functional bathroom. Excellent location close to the King's Cross St. Pancras tube and train station and 25min walking distance to The British Museum. Direct connection to Heathrow via Piccadilly metro line can be accessed from King's Cross/St. Pancras station.
Five minutes walk from Kings Cross. Friendly staff. Well-equipped rooms with tea/coffee making facilities wifi & flat screen tv. This is a new hotel so everything is clean and fresh. Good shower. Luggage store room. All-in-all good value for money & would stay here again.
While the room was small, it was the perfect size of a small trip. The bed was comfy and the room was clean and tidy everyday I returned from being out in London. I was also very pleased that they included Wifi for the room, which could be added to multiple devices.
The hotel is a hop, skip and a jump away from the station so it was very convenient for checking in and out. Even though the hotel is in a busy area we found it quiet and relaxing.
The room was spotlessly clean.
The reception desk was manned by very pleasant staff.
Excellent position for Eurostar. It is in a very quiet square and is
well looked after. The staff are friendly and helpful. For the high
quality of linen and general all round high standard of cleanliness it
is very good value indeed.
- Location:Flying into London Gatwick - getting the train directly to St.Pancreas and 5 minutes walk to the hotel.
- Very clean.
- Excellent bed
- No need for power adapter - the room has both 3 and 2 pin electric outlets - super.
The room was very clean. The hotel was near a huge and very great underground station. We had so many bags and a pregnant woman with us and they placed us in the ground floor. The recepcionists are very very very atencious.
everything perfect. the hotel is new, newly renovated, clean, furnished in a simple but functional. the staff are courteous and friendly. excellent position 100 meters from King's Cross St Pancras. ideal for young couples.
Proximity to Kings Cross, St Pancras, Euston stations.
Helpfulness of reception staff who carried our bags to the 4th floor.
Cleanliness and presentation.
Views over London rooftops.
Quietness.
24 hr reception.
The Angus is a top-notch hotel. It's very clean, has comfortable beds, great service, nice decor, and it is so convenient being so close to the train and subway stations, shopping, etc. It's in a great area!.
The receptionist was really welcoming and very helpful in taking my suitcase up to my room for me as there is no lift. The place was very clean and everything worked well, including the wifi.
it was spotlessly clean everywhere, really couldn'T fault it at all. would have passed the 'hotel inspector'S' test with flying colours!
all the staff we spoke to were pleasant and helpful.
The room was clean and comfortable and very close to St Pancras station. We just needed an overnight stay ready for an early start on Eurostar the next day.The staff were very friendly.
Location , Location, Location. Close to rail to city, 5 min walk.
Very clean and comfortable, staff very friendly, helpful and obliging, lovely leafy view from window over park.
Very friendly and helpful staff
Modern decor
Location
Close to rail and tube links
Towels changed daily
Good supply of tea and coffee in room
Powerful shower
Comfortable bed.
fresh décor, quality of carpets felt more luxurious than I expected. Lovely comfy bed and squishy pillows.Room was bright and airy. Nice big TV and internet access was great.
The staff was very kind although not full of tourist information, the bed was quite comfortable, and the location was close to kings cross station in an area that felt safe.
The room was very clean, the bed very comfortable, the location very convenient and the staff very kind. There were coffee, tea, water and biscuits every day, for breakfast.
Close to St. Pancras and Kings Cross Stations.
Excellent staff.
Able to leave a portion of our luggage, while we visited France for a couple of days.
Safe neighborhood.
Location round the corner from St Pancras International and yet very quiet side street.
All fixtures and fittings recently subject of total refit and in good style.
The Angus was spotlessly clean, well appointed and very well maintained. The bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location is fantastic.
Scrupulously clean, recently modernised, a short walk from King's Cross/St Pancras, very quiet location, room had all the facilities of a much more up-market hotel.
Room was very clean.
Helpful reception. Allowed us to check in early.
In-room amenities such as safe.
Location very convenient to King's cross / St. Pancras.
Qiuet Location for a good nights sleep perfect for business in town and close to Euston, Kiings Cross, and St Pancrass for Eurostar very good value and clean.
Great location just minutes from Kings Cross, but surprisingly quite. Nicely designed rooms, on the small side, but not pokey. Wonderfully comfortable beds.
hotel staff is very nice and try to help you. Location of the hotel is good because is just 2 blocks from train & metro stations. Room is very clean.
Very good value for money, for the area. Two minutes' walk from Kings Cross (from where you can get just about anywhere), clean, quiet and comfortable!.
The room was very clean and nicely decorated. It had everything I needed for the 1 night that I stayed. Perfect for a quick stop over when travelling.
It is really close to St Pancras
Very helpful and friendly staff
Clean!
Luggage room where you can leave your bags before check in or after check out.
The hotel is in a great location for St Pancras as we had a early
Eurostar to catch. The room had everything needed for a comfortable
overnight stay.
It had a large TV and the bed was big (double-size) and comfy. 2-3min walk to King's Cross so access to the tube and trains is really simple.
Brand new hotel, everything perfect! The staff very willing to help! Excelent location, 1 block from st pancras train and tube stations.
Stayed in one of the basement rooms, comfy bed and hotel is in a good location, close to Kings Cross & St Pancras International.
The young gentleman in reception who was wonderfully courteous and helpful.
The cleanliness of the rooms. Very comforatble beds.
Particularly good location. Totally clean. Quiet enough. Good facilities. Newly refurbished. Kind and eager staff. Good price.
very clean. Comfortable bed and pillows. Staff helpful and friendly arranging taxis etc. facilities in room were excellent.
Convenient for closeness to Station. Very quiet. Very comfy bed and shower facilities. Included tea making faclities.
Location very convenient; close to Kings Cross station which is linked to Heathrow airport via the Piccadily line.
Small but perfect! Very clean and fresh and the bed/pillows were very comfortable...I would certainly stay again.
clean and comfortable beds
staff friendliness
able to walk to places instead of catching the tube all the time.
Very near to king cross station and halal restaurants are in the neighbourhood. The staffs are very helpful.
Very Modern and appeared freshly decorated
Modern Bathroom
Great location
Nice square outside to sit in.
Very clean and everything worked.
Receptionist friendly and efficient
Vey handy for Kings Cross Station.
Everything in the room was fresh, clean and quite new. Free room safe useful. Staff polite and helpful.
The stair was a bit steep and narrow, can be difficult for the elderly
to carry the luggage upstairs. The bathroom door knob was difficult to
rotate and hence difficult to open the bathroom door.
Been a new hotel it did have a few problems ,but one that you could not reslove There was a problem with the card machine not accepting the cards ,but staff was very helpful and the problem was reslove quickly without a fuss May be they should contact card company to have machine checked.
The bathroom was very small which wasn't a problem for us, but could be problematic for other guests. No breakfast.
The room was tiny, but that was to be expected. We were only in the
hotel to sleep, so it was okay. We each only had one backpack
(traveling light for a weekend trip), if we had any more than that I
have no idea where we would have put our luggage. It seemed expensive
for how small it was (about 350 pounds for 3 nights), but London is an
expensive city overall.
Walls between rooms were very thin, I could hear Conversation from next
door almost as if they were in the same room.
The room was very small but still very functional.
The room and ensuite were on the small side but then what can you expect for the price. Argyle Square is noisy at night with young people gathering - this is noticeable if you have a room at the front of the hotel and have the window open.
Slightly noisy, but it didn't go deep into the nit.
Room was quite small but it had everything needed.
Only for a stop over not a holiday as very small room and bathroom is
minute - not for anyone above medium size!.
Very small room - I didn't have any luggage and if I had I wouldn't know where to put it.
The room was small but fits two people perfectly. The bathroom was small also, but everything cleaned. Some groups smoked pot in the street and it smelled into our room, but not too much and just with the windows opened. There is no ventilator or AC, just heating.
Being on the 4th floor with no fire escape was a worry to my octogenarian mum.
The rooms are modern and nicely done but small, and the bathrooms are clean and modern but tiny.
The shower room is quite small and it was impossible not to get the bathroom floor wet when having a shower.
would have preferred still water to the sparkling - but nice touch to have it at all.
found the bathroom A wee bit small though.
The area around the hotel isn't the nicest in London.
Room a bit small but location makes up for it, sometimes youths in park were loud but generally dispersed around 10pm. Not the hotels fault.
Size of room, 201, rather small
No storage for clothes, hanging space only
Gang of youths at night adjacent to hotel.
room was a snug fit. and I had dresses to hang and the hangars were above a shelf so whilst I could hang them they stuck out. No drawers so not possible to unpack case. Not a problem for me but it was a double room so if there had been 2 people there for a week they would have found it cramped.
The noises from the rooms above and to the side were unfortunately quite loud, so not good for light sleepers. I had a bit of trouble with hot water in the shower, but the kind staff will certainly have it solved now.
There was no elevator and the bathroom was very small.
No phone in the room
Loittering on the front steps, and the crowd was sometimes very noisy with vulgar language.
The room was very small indeed - no room to put the case on the floor. Stairs to the second floor were steep and narrow with no lift.
The room was tiny and the bathroom was really tiny. If was difficult for 2 people to move around in the room and there wasn't anywhere to put anything.
Bathroom was a bit small, but otherwise no complaints at all.
The walls are paper thin. I could hear the guy next door hacking all night.
Air circulation is poor (despite us having the window open).
No option of breakfast.
Rooms are really small.
The room was quite small, whcih was ok for 1 person, and the bathroom was very small, but this is ok for a short stay for 1 person.
Small room but cosy and still very good value for money.
I didn't mind but older people should be aware that there is no lift.
It was really small and cramped. I felt a bit claustrophobic. Also, sometimes there were strangers outside the windows (I was in the basement) so I couldn't leave my curtains open. Bathroom was tiny, and bed took up most of the room (personally would have preferred a twin bed to maximize space).
Bathroom too small, but everything worked perfect.
Bathroom very small, but ok, however the shower went cold after about 30 seconds at 8.30am, although had lovely hot shower in the evening... Room needs net curtain or similar, as looks out directly into back yard, we kept the curtains closed all the time for the 2 nights we stayed as felt not at all private! Also could do with a couple of coat hooks, as the room is rather small and storage space limited.
Lower floors and not being able to sleep with the windows open. Would suggest a catch to stop windows opeining too wide for security.
Nothing! We were really satisfied.
room was a little small but as the price was very reasonable not a complaint at all.
Breakfast should be included. Also, it was noisy in the evenings as people often congregated near the entrance to talk and smoke.
N/A.
en suite good but small. large people would have difficulty using it.
The room is pretty small.
A bit cramped
A bit impersonal.
Room a tad cramped, loo particularly between seat and sink.
I expected room to be small but it was exceptionally small, especially shower room. Not a fault of the hotel but noisy youths gathered in park across the road from the hotel on a couple of evenings.
