from the moment we checked in the reception and the service was excellent, although one of the rooms were not ready, we were welcomed and given coffee and stacks with compliments - we liked that the hotel was close to the tube station - made it very easy for traveling in and around london. also the spa was very relaxing

Excellent room with everything that a business traveler would need. Huge bed and luxury bedding and pillows. Polite staff and attentive to needs. Great location for business in London; easy for tube to anywhere (from Barbican, five minutes walk away). Last minute rate made it very reasonable cost for the undoubted quality. . -

... lo que la gente dice » three day break at the Montcalm. The location suited my plans and public transport was easily accessible for wandering into the city centre. Very comfortable and modern rooms. Older building repurposed so some quirkiness (corridors) but it just adds to the fun of the outing for me.

The hotel is amazingly welcoming. The staff and the general manager of the hotel are masters in making you feel at home. One does feel joining a bigger family when checking in the hotel. The whole experience was an absolute pleasure and I will be back. The service,and attention from the staff was professional, friendly and personal. Staff were good and attentive, good value if you are staying for a weekend as the City is shut, absolutely nothing open within a square mile! so be prepared to get a taxi into the lively parts of London, we paid a tenner each way into Covent Garden so based on the weekend saving it was worth it, have stayed in better 5* hotels than this but ok.
