Very clean hotel in a good location close to the beach shops cinema etc. I had a single room with flat screen tv on the wall the room was just right with tea and coffee making it was also en suite with an excellent shower toilet and sink. The staff were all very friendly and the food was good quality and plenty of it, I booked bed and breakfast but also had the three course evening meal which you can book after your breakfast. Will come again sometime. Thanks.
todo comentarios » We were welcomed at reception and checked in very quickly. We booked a suite which was on the first floor which was easy to access by stairs or lift. The room was large, light and airy. The en-suite was on the small side but very adequate. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room and also two bottles of water. The breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from. Close to all local amenities. excellent breakfast, plenty of food cooked and kept topped up throughout service. Parking pass offered and not charged for for the duration of our stay. Staff always willing to help and sort any further requests. Excellent value for money, near to beach, shops and cafes etc. Friendly staff and free parking on street via the parking permit, I need to use the car until we left. Small reasonably priced bar can't grumble. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were fabulous - lovely and hot and as much as you can eat. Bedroom was lovely and spacious. Parking permit was a godsend!. Location 2mins to the pier, in the centre for restaurants and theatres. staff very welcoming and helpful, we had a suite which was very roomy and comfortable, great breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful.very clean and comfortable breakfast far better than expected.couldn't find fault.brilliant location.side street but 2 minutes to beach. Can be difficult to park in the street nearby but hey its free that's not the hotels fault, you just need to be patient. It would have been nice to have the option of fruit and yogurt for breakfast, but this would not deter us from staying here again. Family room had two double beds, would have been more suited to a double and two singles. Boys of 8 and 11 in the same double bed does not equall agood nights sleep!!. This isn't a complaint but no food available in the evening only breakfasts although description on most websites says onsite restaurant which isn't strictly true. Saying this can't really complain as location of hotel means there are plenty of places to eat. The hotel could do with a little updating. The fact that l have to wait a year to go back. will stay at waverley again. I would have been happier if breakfast was earlier.I felt that 8 30 was a little to late for breakfast to start. bar area not always open which was a shame. the breakfasts no scramble eggs unless you ordered the day before, fried eggs hard. Also money taken off card for first night before we had arrived. Usually money taken on day of departure where I have stayed before. parking. No evening bar to have an evening chillout drink,. Only small thing was should have a few more tables for 2 for breakfast. The bath jacuzzi did not work. Not much choice of breakfast cereals, tea making facilities during breakfast was poor, all food for english style was luke warm in pre-heated trays, no choice but fried eggs. Rooms very noisy, from people walking on uneven floorboards in coridoors outside room but mainly from street noise & sea gulls, needs double glazing. the parking arrangments. No on site parking, but not a huge problem. The bar in the hotel was not open from Friday night the Sunday whilst I was there. I had a single room,and could hear both sides getting showerd and using the toilet. Lift was a bit jumpy. Noise from outside, but it didn't spoil our stay. Breakfast although good only served between 8:30 and 9:30. breakfast didnt start till 8AM. none. no allocated parking for the customers. room was very small,Only one chair for 2 to sit on The town looked very run down. Bedroom carpet. the size of the room. Breakfast bit crowded and rushed but well cooked and plenty of it. No own parking. Hotel needs a refurb. Hall ways need new carpet. Room was very basic and needed a complete refurb Bathroom was very messy. room 227 could not open window no nice view bath panel let it down all damp on it , made it look dirty one some forgot to take sticky tape froom around ceiling light no kettle but staff did bring one up.
