Lo que la gente dice
Did what it said on the tin - good-value accommodation with no frills. Bus stops immediately outside and opposite, with direct links to everywhere I needed to go. Breakfast costs £5 extra - but excellent value.
The staff and owners were very helpful and friendly they made me feel very welcome the location is great near a shopping centre restaurants and movie centre the bus stop for the city is just outside. todo comentarios »
Was useful as I wanted to be near to family's home which was 10 mins walk away. I was only in B&B to sleep and it was adequate for my needs at the time.
The location was great. Near the train station and the buses stopped right outside.
They also ensured that they had gluten free bread for my breakfast.
Owner was very accommodating and helpful. Great breakfast with wide range of food (cereals, cooked breakfast, toast etc). Clean, friendly and cosy.
Great and helpfull staff, good parking, rooms with every you might need, bus station to centre in front of the house.
Friendly staff, helpfull with washing our clothes, pleasant restaurant for breakfest and nice and clean rooms.
Rooms were clean and had everything you need
Breakfast was well cooked
Service was friendly.
one of the best places we have stayed at , top customer services from the staff .
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Relaxed atmosphere.
Tastefully decorated room.
The hotel was pretty. Staff was nice and the breakfast tasted great.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Ideal for a single night stopover.
Simple, good price, clean
the staff are very friendly.
the breakfast is excelent.best bacon i`v had in ages.
Friendly staff, warm room, nice atmosphere.
easy to find, functional, friendly staff.
I like the atmosphere and nice staff.
Very friendly family-run guesthouse.
Helpful attitude at reception desk.
Warm, clean and very comfortable.
good service, excellent location.
Large bathroom, comfortable bed.
Owner very kind!.
Location. Very friendly, pleasant host. Good breakfast. Quiet room facing garden.
My room was large - was a twin room though I only paid for a single. I was only there one night and it was adequate for what I wanted. Parking available in front of hotel.
Delicious breakfast.
5 mins walk to Rail Station.
15 mins walk to Regent Street.
Very kind staff.
Functional Hotel, effective recording
Very well soundproofed and very well placed.
It was cheap and cheerful. The staff were friendly and you got what you paid for.
Friendly staff, parking available, quiet and clean room.
Clean, warm and well located for my visit.
Good value and good position.
Handy for the City.
Value for money.
I originally booked 3 nights but the day of arrival I changed it to 1 night and they did not charge me for the other two.
The breakfast was good.
Location is good being about 20 minute walk from city centre and short
walk from restaurants and food stores.
The location-good bus service to city just outside. Linen and towels
were clean, bed comfortable.
Beds were comfortable.
Value for money.
Nothing Really.
The only positive about this B&B was that the bed linen and towels were clean ,also the room was warm.
Supermarket nearby.
Would have liked a mug rather than cup for tea in the room.
there was nothing that I didn't like.
Should ahve realised that thee wasn't a hairdryer but not a vital point.
Could not fault it at all.
In some rooms small bathroom.
It was pretty basic, but value for money.
Bed on the small side.
Need to walk 10-15mins from train station and 25-30 mins from the center. But there was a bus station near the hotel.
No left.
Liquid dispenser instead of soap, shower pressure very variable. Used to be better so I think they are just temporarily having a hard time.
no problems - you pay for what you get.
the noisy ceiling - i mean when somebody was walking upstairs it disturb us below.
The bathroom adjacent to room 2 needs renovation. It was very clean, but the toilet drips constantly and the shower is so old it appears dirty despite being very thoroughly cleaned.
Maintenance issue in shower area, grout is missing between tiles and should either be replaced or silicone caulking should be used to fill it in. Floor tiles/grouting need to be cleaned of bits of black mold, suggest using white vinegar, leave for 2-3 hours and then use again and scrub with a stiff nylon brush.
Did not have espresso.
Nothing. Carpet could have been cleaner.
It was fairly old fashioned and probably in need of update/ redecration.
Single room very small.
Not enough arrangement in the bathroom, no place for devices.
Located right next to a huge building-site on a busy road. Rooms very bitty as far as the furniture goes.
Single room very small.
The hotel was overheated
Breakfast was disappointing.
Not luxury.
Further away from town centre. Good 20-30 min walk.
Very small room. No room to open suitcases except on the bed.
Hole in linoleum floor in bathroom
Shower was 25 inches square. Couldn't even bend over to pick up soap when I dropped it. Had to squat down.
Threadbare carpets in hallway.
Not very clean carpets in bedroom.
Water heater and water equipment in bathroom behind plywood divider.
Staff not helpful about Cambridge.
The guest house is over rated - unclear why it is three star! Guest
welcome could be better (a smile is free!) rooms are tired and could do
we facelift. The cooked breakfast comprises cheap tasteless
ingredients. The proprietor couldn't provide basic information
about public transport access to city and was unable to present a map.
All left is scratching our heads as to why Visit England would award 3
stars in 2011!.
Shabby and dated accommodation (room 7). Wifi signal low to non-
existent. Generally run down. Carpet stained. En suite very dated,
crack in shower tray, shaver socket not working, water leak from base
of toilet.
We thought it was overpriced, had it been £60 a night I think I would
recommend it but at £95 with a Travel Lodge 100m away they have to
reduce the price.
Nobody on reception when I arrived or when I returned in the evening. Only one member of staff at the hotel to provide breakfast and to cope with guests (though I saw no-one else) check out.
The general shabbiness of the place, worn carpets, old marked furniture. Creaking single bed. The early morning noise from the building site next door. Do yourself a favour and stay at the nearby Travelodge instead!.
Firstly the lady never welcomed us.We had to step over the frame of the front door it does not comply with safety regulations. The house needs a complete renovation .Our bedroom was decorated with tacky furniture. The level of cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The shower door was not clean. It reminded us of a bedsit one would have seen in the 70s!!! It was way over priced. We were to stay 3nights but left after 1 night.
Poor value for money. Very basic facilities and a tiny toilet. There are even cobwebs in wardrobe and ceiling! Would definitely not stay here again.
