I've just returned from a two night stay at Aloft London Excel where I had a great time. Although this hotel is not in the centre of London, the DLR line (a metro line on the surface) station Prince Regent has direct access to the hotel and the station of Tower Gateway, in the centre of London, is within a trip of 15 minutes. It was clean, ikea-styled, everything worked automaticly, code to doors. Full kitchen equipment: oven, toaster, water heater. We had baby cot too. It is close to te East Ham city center, and East Ham underground station. The surroundigs is mostly indian, but we found it safety. -

Bathroom we knew was shared and was very clean and tidy and there was another one downstairs

Lovely giant comfortable room. We stayed for 4 nights so really got to make ourselves at home. We cooked at least once (if not twice a day). The outside area, kitchen and lounge are excellent and really comfortable to relax in. The other guests were very friendly, we would definitely recommend this as a cost effective way to stay in London!
