I stayed at the B & B Auf dem Wolf, St. Jakob during Baselworld 13' and everything was great. You are well looked after, the rooms are comfortable, breakfast is always waiting and a tram gets you into the city in 15 mins. -

Run by a very friendly and interesting family. Incredibly comfortable beds meant we really did sleep well! Self-contained apartment in house with interesting modern architectural style. The staff did go above what they tell they'd offer: i.e. checking me in outside of their opening hours because they were there "anyway" and I could leave my luggage with them because the room wasn't ready (I was before check-in time) and because I would return so late, they brought it up to my room. I definitely did not expect this from a "budget hotel"!

We liked very much the layout of the B&B. The kitchen had everything you could need and the children were delighted to find satellite TV in their bedroom. Rooms were clean and tidy. The owners (Rolf and Nicole) were very friendly and attentive. Location was great, being close to the city but quiet enough to sleep at night. -
