Went here for my annivesary. THe staff were professional and friendly. They didn't have the room I booked so they upgraded me to a two bedroom superior suite. The room was nice, sleek and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the staff made our stay welcoming, relaxing and ensured they knew our names for that extra personal touch. We would definitely rebook this facility in the near future and have recommended Distinction to our friends and family.

After being delayed by weather and airlines for 2 days, we arrived at the Copthorne quite tired, frustrated and disappointed that our three night stay had been reduced to just one night. Thankyou to your staff that night.We arrived in from Sydny after 1 am without our bags and only the cloths we were wearing. We had a 8 am departure that morning and they kindly arranged for our cloths to be washed and ready by 6 am.
Nothing was too much trouble and they definately "went the extra yard"

Great location easy walk to Lambton Quay and other quality shops, bars, restaurants, Courtney Pl. An easy 15min walk to stadium we were in Wellington to watch Warriors vs Bulldogs game. The lady at front desk was friendly and helpful. We had trouble getting
the tv to work, she explained and also offered to come to room and get
it working. Also my daughter accidently dropped her ipod by lift which
was found by permanent apt man, who phd us to arrange getting back to us

Good location, everything functioned well, clean, helpful no-frills front desk. We did not use restaurant facilities.
Anyone considering booking should note that taxis drop off and pick up in Gilmer Tce, which is level with 7th floor reception, walk along well lit underground carpark. Take lift to ground level, then walk down Plimmer Steps to get to Lambton Quay. Lift does not go right down to street level.

Excellent service from property owner and very good and clean facilities. Position is excellent and that the owner organised transport for us to the airport (4am), was very much appreciated, We loved that there is a curfew on planes as we thought we might have been kept awake all night. The location was ideal for our purposes. The bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff were excellent. We had previously stayed at another Grand Mecure and was encouraged to book because of this. Also our daughter is getting married at the Grand Mecure Monaco (Nelson) in Sept and we wanted to support Accor because of the service we are receiving from Clare and staff at Nelson.

on it, nice little suit, nice fresh sheets, able to make our breakfast
there, and a little dairy down below with essentials, really nice staff,

The corner apartment was great and the building felt safe after the earthquakes and us coming from Christchurch. The locatin was perfect. The senior staff member (female) was friendly and easy going. The apartment had all that we needed - the bath was great and being able to do our washing was a bonus. -

The staff were awesome they accommodated us to the best of their ability with helping out with storage of our bags, access to Internet and with getting around the city. The staff were excellent, we loved the CBD location with flat walk to just about anywhere in the CBD. Close to the sea front, train station and many tourist attractions. Really good restaurant with excellent menu. Great room, very comfortable bed, well equipped bathroom, full mini-bar and stunning views across the CBD from our room. Really enjoyed our stay and will be back again.

Inner city location, walking distance of harbour, restaurants, Te Papa
and the cable-car. Right near public transport (and government buildings
like the Beehive). Staff were helpful. Good bathroom, adequate kitchen.
Would be great for business stay. Convenient loading zone right outside
on Lambton Quay for getting luggage out of taxi. On Lambton Quay, go
through the door for the Travelex, then around to the right to take lift
to third floor reception.

The very friendly and helpful manager. He booked a city tour bus for us.
Had leaflets and costs of the various modes of transport to get to the
airport and on our day of departure phoned and organised the Shuttle
bus. Also stored our luggage until it was time for our departure. It was
in easy walking distance of cafes, restaurants and the museum.
