  Very nice hotel! Very clean, very helpful stuff. The lady on reception is amazingly nice. She pointed for us on the map all the best places to eat and enjoy a glass of wine. Great location, two steps from the main shopping street and sites. Funny elevator - extremely slow, but you don' t really need it except when you bring your luggage. The Staff are very polite and helpful. The room is very clean and completed with all facilities that you may need. When you step out of your room you can hear classic music remembering you why you are there. looking forward for the next year!

  Owner of Villa Mainard was one of the nicest people we've ever met! Even with limited English, he was so helpful to us. Our apartment was beautiful, very spacious, and wonderful to stay in - we wish we could have stayed longer! He also recommended the best pizza we've ever eaten in our lives - all in all, a great stay. - We had two apartments which were both very spacious. We wanted to be able to cook in a couple of nights and that proved easy to do. The concierge provided good information about local facilities, bus routes and local food shopping (would suggest these should be in a folder in Italian, English and German in each apartment. nb buy bus tickets at the local Tabak - cheaper than on the bus!)

The bedroom was large and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, a continental buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. The hotel is close to the old city centre and is close to the arena.

Breakfast is served on the terrazza and you can talk to Luigi, the host, who will give you the best hints regarding the best foodie places in Verona. We will definitely come back:)
