We enjoyed going to Menaggio and on the boat trip, and also hiking in the mountains. This is a super place with value for -
the facility is fairly new, with underground garage, the pool and tub excellent for kids; spacious, clean apartments; close to one another and yet private; comfortable beds; close to the Lake and mountains; also shop and restaurants within walking distance; the staff very warm and helpful; it takes 30 min (on a densely tunnelled road) to get to Varenna (from there excellent ferry trip to Menaggio-Bellaggio-Cernobbio); quiet! great for watersports!
