  First of all - the way to the hotel is one of the beautiful ways I've ever drove in...it's a little bit far from Garda lake but worth the drive!!! The view is amazing - surrounded with green forest with nothing else around. The room was realy big and well furnished.   The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The apartment was for 4 people but we rented it for 2 of us because we wanted the lake view. It was lovely and spacious and you could sit on the sofa and look out across the lake. It's a short walk to lots of restaurants and bars along a very pleasant promenade. We had a lovely time there. Salo is really... lo que la gente dice » pleasant and in a good location to see other towns. We parked a few minutes walk away in the supermarket as recommended and this was free. Would stay - What wasn't to like? The family-owned apartments are well kept. There is also a family run butcher shop next door which was excellent! The location is literally a hop across the street from the promenade. Absolutely lovely area! Right around the corner from two different grocery stores. There is a great market on Saturdays with a mix of clothing and local food vendors. We had a wonderful time and look forward to visiting again!
