  I love, love this hotel. I had a room on the upper floor, under the eaves, so to speak. It was gorgeous. The private bathroom was ultra modern, clean and complete with a bath and a shower. I definitely recommend both the hotel and the town. Valeria and Fausto, the owners, go out of their way to be helpful. I give this a five star rec - The room we had was delightfully furnished in a simple but tasteful style, with lovely white fluffy towels. The room we had was charming with its beams and slanting roof and the lovely terrace to sit out on. The common room we had to share with others also had charm and was a good place to sit to use the internet. We appreciated the coffee machine - great to have good coffee in the morning.

  Our stay at La Rocca was great. It was a perfect place to relax and take in the beautiful Tuscan scenery. Our guest house was spacious, comfortable and clean. We loved the patio. The facilities on site were great - unfortunately for us, it was too cold to use the stunning pool that overlooks Orvieto. The restaurant on site was fantastic.   We loved our stay at Lapone near Orvieto! We had 2 apartments, one for family of 3 with a young child, one for the grandparents. But when we discovered that we could get a wonderful 4-course meal for 30 Euros incl. wine, we opted for the lovely restaurant nearly every evening. It was modern, clean and everything worked well. We would definit - Beautiful large property tucked away in a stunning location surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, home grown vegetables and herbs - with panoramic views of rolling hills. The owners Catalina and Paulo, plus all their staff, were so friendly and created a really intimate and personal service. The property was such an oasis and had such a laid back, relaxed feel. The evening meals were really great, and gave us a experience of deliscious, homemade italian food. Really miss not still being there
