Great location in the heart of Florence, easy walking distance to al of the sights. This hotel is in a very old building with some interesting internal features. The staff were excellent - helpful and informative. Tea & coffee making facilities and fridges were a welcome inclusion too.

We couldn't have hoped to have lived at a better hotel, particularly
from the point of view of its location, literally a few steps from the
piazza della signoria and the palazzo vecchio (and also extremely close
to nearby attractions such as the uffizi, bargello and ponte vecchio).
The hotel itself is quite wonderful, and our room was clean and more
than adequate for our purposes. We'd chosen the 'private
bathroom outside the room' option, and it ended up being only a
minor issue (if at all).

The receptionist was so helpful, friendly, the location is just amazing, almost everything to see in Florence is walking distance. The whole place was super clean, I wondered how they keep it that way. wi-fi works so well, there is a commune computer as well. also they allow you to drop the bags off at the lobby and come back later, after you check out.

I have spent 7 nights in the hotel Sole. The hotel has a perfect
location: 5 minutes to a train station Santa Maria Novella and 5 minutes
to Duomo. It is situated right in the city sentrum what makes it a
perfect place both for these people who came to Florence for exploring
the city for several days and who came to do shopping. Stuff is very
friendly. Everyone speaks english and tries to help when it's
needed. My room and bathroom were cleaned every day and towels were
changed when I needed. A

My stay at Hotel Masaccio was very nice experience. The staff was friendly and it was a quite atmosphere. It is Budget-friendly. There is a food store that is 5 minutes away from the hotel. And there is also a Wash-and-Dry if you need to wash or dry your clothes.
