Sostio is a hidden gem! Tucked in the hills and only a 10 minute drive to access the Cinque Terre. Laura's cooking is not to be missed, we dined in the first night and the food was brilliant, consequently we dined in every night. The Rooms were private, modern and very spacious.

location is about 7 km from the beautiful ligurian sea and very close to
cinque terre, portofino, portovenere..you may find several pathways and
trekking trails with wonderful views...the rooms are also so cozy and

We LOVED this little place. More of a hotel than a hostel, in my opinion, as I usually avoid hostels. We had a private double room with a private bathroom. The room was very clean, and the view of the sea from the hill was amazing!! So much to explore on the "footpaths" around Framura. We did the hike from Framura to Bonassola, and it was breathtaking (a bit scary at times, but worth it!). Framura is SOOO much better than touristy Cinque Terre. We had a room with a beautiful seaview (would recommend!). The location
North of Cinque Terre made it perfect as there were not many tourists in
comparison to the 5 villages. We hiked from Framura to Bonassola which
was wonderful! The last positive point would be the staff. We found them
very helpful! If your are arriving to Framura by train you can call the
hotel and someone will kindly pick you up! (The same applies for when
you leave). Overall, wonderful stay for value.

Food unbelievable probably all home grown. Lovely location. Family run - very authentic. -
The view is fantastic and you're outside of the chaos of the busy places. There were goats and chickens which our baby loved. Dinner was excellent on both nights. Staff were friendly and helpful but had very limited English.

Our stay at La Rossola was a true holiday, we were treated as part of the family and we immediately felt at home. Our 15 month old son Cooper made immediate friends with the hosts and learnt to play peek-a-boo in Italian.
