  If you're looking for a break from touring historical cities in Italy, or just looking for a different experience, Sostio a Levante, with Laura and Lucca as your hosts, is a perfect getaway. Its up in the hills in the Framura district, 400m above sea level. From the moment we drove in through the gate, the beautiful house, the garden, olive trees ... wat mensen zeggen » and rows of grapevines, looking out over hills, just completely relaxes you. The bedroom and bathroom compare with any 4 to 5 star hotel in the world, - Sostio is a hidden gem! Tucked in the hills and only a 10 minute drive to access the Cinque Terre. Laura's cooking is not to be missed, we dined in the first night and the food was brilliant, consequently we dined in every night. The Rooms were private, modern and very spacious.

  Erg schattige B&B met een prachtige tuin. Wel goed insmeren tegen de muggen, want wij werden flink gestoken. Eigenaar is heel erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Hij helpt je graag aan allerlei informatie. Wifi werkt prima. Kamer zag er heel netjes uit. Wij hadden wel een eigen badkamer en deze was erg ruim en netjes. Vanuit deze lokatie kon je ... wat mensen zeggen » prima de cinque terre bezoeken. - Rustig gelegen, prachtige omgeving, eigenaar doet alles om het je naar de zin te maken. Je moet wel een auto hebben, B&B is afgelegen. Mooie badkamer en eenvoudige maar sfeervolle kamer. Eigenaar geeft tips en adressen van bv eetgelegenheden. Belt ernaar en de korting is geregeld als je Luciano noemt. Voor de echte Italiaanse sfeer zit je daar goed.

  I can not fault this hostel - which as Russell below me put, it feels more like a hotel! I was in an 8bed dorm and there was so much space, the beds were mot right up against one another, and there was plenty of room to move. And the view! My goodness. The view was too die for! Beautiful ocean views. The owners were beyond exceptional! Although th... wat mensen zeggen » ey speak minimal English, you can communicate with them easy enough. They were so accommodating! I was greeted by Pier at the train station and driven - We LOVED this little place. More of a hotel than a hostel, in my opinion, as I usually avoid hostels. We had a private double room with a private bathroom. The room was very clean, and the view of the sea from the hill was amazing!! So much to explore on the "footpaths" around Framura. We did the hike from Framura to Bonassola, and it was breathtaking (a bit scary at times, but worth it!). Framura is SOOO much better than touristy Cinque Terre. As one local at Ristorante Silvia put it, "

If your are arriving to Framura by train you can call the hotel and som - We had a room with a beautiful seaview (would recommend!).   Food unbelievable probably all home grown. Lovely location. Family run - very authentic. - The view is fantastic and you're outside of the chaos of the busy places. There were goats and chickens which our baby loved. Dinner was excellent on both nights. Staff were friendly and helpful but had very limited English.

  It was really a nice family atmospher hotel.Girl Lori in reception was so kind to tell us about all resorts and places which we could visit. All staff was nice and friendly.Good location in the top of mountains, with distance to noisy resort, where u can chiling near the swimming pool or go for a hiking in a forest.The best place in this region f... wat mensen zeggen » or the couples who want to enjoy time together. - Our stay at La Rossola was a true holiday, we were treated as part of the family and we immediately felt at home. Our 15 month old son Cooper made immediate friends with the hosts and learnt to play peek-a-boo in Italian.
