  We're just back from only 1 night's stay at this fabulous country house. We arrived on Saturday afternoon to a welcome from Conor, who immediately guessed who we were before we even introduced ourselves! It seemed like he was eagerly awaiting our arrival!. The grounds are beautiful, nestled along a babbling stream in a very peaceful, serene and quiet setting. Aftternoon tea was a special treat, as were the delicious breakfasts. Staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating.   We stayed in the self contained apartment adjoining the house and were greeted with tea and biscuits on arrival. Joan and her helpers couldn't be more welcoming and easy going. The place was both spotless and comfy in equal measures.
