I was greeted personally they called me on my way from the airport. I was dreading the noise as it is in very busy /noisy Temple Bar but my suite ( Bram Stoker) was not on street ... so it was quiet .. and they provide ear plugs . ITs a vry urban environment so if you re looking for views or sense of space its not a place for you. The room are large however and otherwise perfect . Will use it again .

Absolutely loved this hotel! Was weighing up whether to stay at the Westbury or her and we were so glad we picked the Shelbourne! It is just in a class of its own and seems to have more on at night too. You could just sit in the elegant foyer and people-watch all day! Everything in this hotel was as you would expect for a 5* hotel. At no point did we think something was amiss as is often the case in other hotels. The receptionist I dealt on checking in and out with was wonderful and a real credit to the hotel.

Stayed for 5 nights on July 2013. I had great experience. The location couldn't be more central, just 2 minutes walk from Temple Bar and 5 minutes from Dublin Castle. The rooms are very large and very well equipped and the bed extremely comfortable. The facilities are very modern but the interior designing is pleasant and warm. Breakfast contains wide selection of fresh products. The staff was friendly, outreaching and very efficient. They provided a lot of accurate information about the city

We enjoyed the breakfast as well. Location was excellent - the bus stop is very near and it only took under 10 minutes to the city center by bus. You'll love this place!

service and furnishings. Amazing restaurant with reasonable prices.
It's not the cheapest hotel, but if you're looking for
unparalleled luxury, from the moment you enter your room and see a plate
of fresh and very delicious macaroons laid out for you, then this is the
place! We took my mother in law and stayed in a family suite and had a
great time enjoying the furnishings and macaroons and having fun in the

Excellent location. A few minutes walk to Grafton Street. Only about 10-15 min walk to Temple Bar -area or The River Liffey. Very friendly staff. Quite many steps to our room and no lift. Large nice room overlooking the Stephens Green -park. Perhaps a bit pricy but all in all a great place to stay.

The Staff were really friendly and they try to do anything to make you feel like you were at home. The Food at the restaurant was lovely and the environment was relaxing. We are extremely happy with the room quality and We do not hesitate to recommend this hotel to everybody who wishes stay in it.
