Thought the staff were very friendly and proficient in English. The
hotel is new, as such the room was clean, comfortable, not large but for
the money a tremendous value compared to other hotels in the area. The
breakfast was good, it is an indonesian breakfast so If you are a

Fave Pasar Baru is one of my favourite hotels in Jakarta. It is clean, safe, near shops and food courts (mall is 5 minutes walk away, and the famous Pasar Baru Market in also 5 minutes walk from here). The staff is FANTASTIC. I call this hotel my little 5 star hotel

I liked that the location was awesome -- it was right in front of Pasar Baru, which is a day to night market that sells shoes, clothes, and the sundries at an affordable price. The location, the price, the basic but good quality of bed, linens, lighting, numerous power sockets around the room, tv, the strong and hot shower, even the elevator which is as plain as it could be but fast. It is clean and does not smell. I also like the restaurant attached. The menu can expand a bit more.

Everything single thing from the minute we entered until our departure. Excellent service from every single staff member that we encountered. Taxis arranged speedily. Even packed us a little breakfast as we departed for airport early hours of the morning. Those personal touches mean to lot to travellers. Food excellent. Would not stay anywhere else when coming to Jakarta again.
