  As a 40+ solo traveller I enjoyed the comforts provided by Kaluku Bungalow including the king bed, air conditioning, and private outdoor shower and toilet which was beautifully designed with natural slate and stone. The views from the shore in front were very calming and relaxing. The Kaluku bungalows are not budget or backpacker accommodation for G - The bungalow is clean and nice. It is on the beach as all hotels on Gili island are. The shower and toilet are under the sky;) Breakfast is simple but nice. It's better to go to other places to swim and lay on the beach as there is no actually beach in front of the hotel and the sea is not deep enough. The island is perfect, it's like paradise!

  We loved our time here, the resort is right on the beach and right by the restaurants. Gili Air is far quieter than Gili T so this is no problem at all as everything winds down by 11. The pool is divine and snorkelling is on your doorstep. The accommodation was unique and we enjoyed the 2 story villa. Our Room was towards the back and of the property and was nice an quiet, barely noticed other people.
