Unique experiencing staying in a small Cretan mountainside village but relative style and comfort. Owner has done an excellent job turning old village houses into lovely accommodations. Staff are also very accommodating.

Mochlos is a quiet and gentle paradise.
Elli and Iannous are gracious and very relaxed. It is a bit off the beaten track so you need a car. A great base for all the great sites of East and Central Crete. Mochlos itself is wonderful and the hotel was perfect for us. -
The location : a pretty small fishermen village at the end of the peninsula.

Small village close by for necessities.
Lots of tavernas -
Very clean, friendly welcome from the owners, with, wine, water and juice in the fridge, tea coffee, sugar and olive oil left for our use. The views are stunning, overlooking the harbour and island, away from the main village and very quiet.
