We came to visit Santorini at its last days of tourist season (end of October) and decided to stay in Oia as it's considered the most beautiful town of Santorini, although it's a little further out compare with Fira. I liked everything. I have been to Santorini before and the overall standard of accommodation is high at every price level. It is highly competitive too. Although Santorini pretty much has amazing views anywhere you go, the views from the Villas were special because it allowed a unique perspective from the main parts of the island. Staying in Akrotiri is a must if you enjoy culture or history. This is a fantastic boutique hotel located at the highest point of the caldera with breathtaking views - the best in Santorini. Position perfect it is just a few minutes walk to the shops and cafes of FIra yet away from the noise. Everything was perfect.
