We came to visit Santorini at its last days of tourist season (end of October) and decided to stay in Oia as it's considered the most beautiful town of Santorini, although it's a little further out compare with Fira. We were lucky to stay at Rimida Villas, it located outskirt of Oia, with a view of the whole town, we had seen a great sunset right outside our door one evening. Outside the city fuss this beautiful hidden place is excellent when you look for quiet and stunning environment. Car is essential as it would be anywhere in Mykonos for people who plan to see a bit more than a hotel pool. We were 2 couples and we wanted apartment with kitchen, to have breakfast on veranda. Casa del mar was perfect for that too! Pictures are the mirror of reality, we recommend definitely.

one of the words I would add is ritualistic. the area of oia is in general, but caldera villas allow visitors to feel that connection with nature, history, and raw simple goodness through its dialogues with the cliffs and human settlement. The decor, strategies in design, the food, the hospitality and flexibility of the staff etc. guarantee a wholesome stay.

This was the perfect stay in the perfect place. We stayed for 7 nights and enjoyed every minute. The staff was friendly and accomodating, and great at helping to show you the best places to eat and beach. The pool got lots of sun throughout the day and our room was comfortable and exactly as it appeared in the picture. It is also just a few minutes walk away from town. I would highly recommend staying with them. Excellent little boutique hotel. -
The staff was super- friendly and helpful: I had broken my toe and my computer didn't do it, and in both cases they provided help far beyond expectation. The room was super beautiful in a pure way , the new bathrooms are worth spending a whole day in, the hotel lies in a calm part of Naousa but still is central, and all the breakfast and cleaning ladies were extremely quick and efficient and friendly. You get Greece pure, but with New Zealand effiency.
