Excellent location, great staff whose attention to detail and desire to please was second to none! Superb breakfasts with lots of choice and extras like the small pancakes deep fried and served with honey and sesame seeds - delicious. Meals in the restaurant were fantastic, again with lots of extras and a new dessert to sample every day. The staff were very well trained, courteous and took the time to talk. The apartment is a family run business. The family offers a warm welcome with helpful assistance throughout the stay.
The quality of the apartment is excellent and clean. The furnitures are in good conditions and solid.
The location is excellent if you wish to have a quiet stay outside of the main town Plakias. It locates just 5 minutes drive to Plakias, few minutes walk to the beaches, and easy access to the main road for road trips.

Very attractive hotel/apartment block located midway between town and the beach, so quiet and yet convenient. Nice pool (though surprisingly cold after a long, hot summer) and outdoor breakfast/lunch area. Staff very friendly and helpful - they even upgraded us to a 2 bed apartment overlooking the pool at no extra cost - because it was available!

Socrates is a lovely hotel. Very friendly owners, Eva and George.
Absolutely perfect pool area, with comfortable sunbeds and a wonderful
garden. We got clean towels every day and the room was perfectly
cleaned. It was about 200 m to the bus stop (32) to Hersonissos and to
the beach 200-250 M. The hotel is perfectly situated in the countryside
quiet yet central. I would definitely go back. And the transfer service

Highly recomend!!! Kosta at reception made our stay unforgettable. Kosta
went way beyond what I would expect from hotel staff to help us with
everything. Great advice on where to eat, which beaches to visit and
where to party. We will definetly be back in future. Cannot have asked
for anything else. Rooms were very affordable, clean and spacious. Short
walk to beach and all clubs, no need to catch a cab.
