The location of this hotel is perfect - easy walk from train station
with suitcases; walking distance to many historic sites that we wanted
to visit and plenty of restaurants for meals very close. Breakfast room
with the view was not exaggerated, it is awesome. Perfect, and we had
great weather so were able to sit outside. The bathroom is probably the
smallest I have ever stayed...hard to shave because of the closeness of

location in the Plaka was convenient. We were able to walk most places
and did not have to use the metro much at all. From our room the wifi
was weak, but we could use a neighboring hotel's wifi and it was a
good signal. We didn't eat the breakfast so I'm not sure how it
was. The fridge in the room was not already turned on, so we had to turn
it on. It was helpful to have an aditional mirror outside the bathroom

The Athos is located within walking distance of the Plaka area and the Acropolis as well as the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Arch...we are walkers but this is easy walking. If you can get a room on the 4th floor you can get a spectacular view of the Parthenon from your window. Either way the view from the roof is just as beautiful.. The shopping streets are close by too, as well as lots of good eating options.

Great location...helpful and friendly staff...very good price...very clean...The man that works during breakfast even remembered the reason I was in Athens and introduced me to a woman who worked in a similar field to me - I was surprised he remembered what I did.
