We did not notice that we booked room with no balcony, but owner gave us room with balcony without extra costs. Beatiful view, frendly and helpful staff, realy quiet place, ideal if you want to escape from people and enjou on the beach alone.

The location is excellent and the sea view from the room also. There is parking available in front of the hotel. The breakfast, the tiganites and the homemade marmalades made by the owner are very nice. Rooms and balconies are very comfortable. -

leave yourself at least an hour to travel by car over the mountain to
get to Volos. The drive is breathtaking. In winter the area turns into a
sk - We have spent two weeks, at Anesis Hotel along with our friends - 4 persons in all, mature couples and well traveled too. Everything was perfect, from the music pouring from the reception, to the wonderful cakes and bread freshly baked every morning by the owners. Milthos and his family are kind, educated and make the tourists feel at home.
If you want to go to Agios Ioannis, do not spend time in searching a hotel, just go to Anesis, and you will not regret!

Located just above Agios Ioannis we had a good location to visit all the areas magical spots. Every day we received a tailored plan of where to go and what to do next. The hotel is very clean and quiet. The surroundings are great, fresh air (no need to use the AC in the room), fresh water (crystal clear waters all over in Pelion), no mosquitos (against our expectation). The hosts are pleasant and helpful. We had no breakfast, so I will not comment that.
