We stayed at the Honeymoon Suite (who says that you can only book those when you're on honeymoon ;), so the steps were not an issue (the lift goes almost all the way down to the suite). Other reasons to book this suite: Large terrace overlooking the caldera (probably one of the best terracces in Fira!), great big bed in its own little "cave" - and there is a whirlpool in the bathroom. We came to Santorini for the wedding of our best friend and we stayed in Solaris. The hotel was very nice near to the center so we could easily reach our friend's hotel walking. Very nice clean swimming pool and a nice little bar there. The reception staff was very kind and helpfull we hadd all the information we needed. Villa Koronios is a wonderful place.
The location is perfect, a few minutes walk to the amassing views of the Santorini caldera from Fira but in a quiet and relaxing place with a beautiful view of the sea toward the East. In my opinion, it cannot go better. The location is 5 min to the central bus station in Fira where all buses can take in any place on the island and 5 min to the grocery store.

truly want to enjoy Santorini and make the most of your time, stay here.
We didn't have to worry about finding a mediocre restaurant with a
view because we had a 24 hour view right from the comfort of our room.
And with a patio you could buy some wine or beer and sit outside as long
as you wanted. Not to mention that this isn't a large hotel, so you
really feel catered to. Every morning breakfast was brought to us in our

A fantastic hotel runs by a fantastic family. We were there for 4 nights with 3 teenagers. The children slept in an apartment-loft while my husband and I were in the windmill: very romantic and lovely. The pool area is wonderful, with nice sunbeds. A little walk to Fira centrum (15 mn) uphills... sweaty in the middle of the day but nice at night.

The staff is wonderful and do all they can to accomodate their guests. They arranged for a rental car at a good price. The hotel is quite nice, quiet and very well kept. It has a beautiful pool area. The room was rather large and very comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the ocean. The breakfast is good and has a good number of choices. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from downtown Fira. The road is not heavily travelled by motorists but is a bit dark so preferable to bring a flashligh

The hotel is a dream, so romantic. We had room next to the pool (small cold water Jacuzzi really) room 101. The room was quite big with a big shower and the bed on a separate mezzanine.
The views from the room and the pool are out of this world and being next to the donkey trail you have the pleasure of seeing them walk by all day as well as to wake up to the sound of the bells each morning!
