This was our second trip to Clos St Vincent, and we returned because of the great time we had in July. It was actually a spur of the moment decision, due to an open weekend, and no plans. As it turned out, it was a great time to go, and we were fortunate there was a room, as it was the weekend of the Medieval Festival, and we got the only room left, a comfortable family room. We again brought our dogs, and enjoyed walking through the vinyards, now laden with bunches of nearly ripe grapes.

Location, location! This hotel is smack in the middle of Ribeauville. There is a fountain in front of the front door that spouts wine during Piperdays, a holiday that takes place on the first weekend in September. The breakfast is continental, but has many choices. The rooms are well-equipped. -

A nice hotel with good parking - but the parking is accessed from Rue des Juifs, not from the hotel's address.
Our room was actually four - toilet, bathroom, sitting room and bedroom. Warning - the bedroom we had was up some very steep stairs which might cause problems for people with impaired movement.

Stayed in the 'reduced mobility' room 'Framboise' - spacious, spotlessly clean, well appointed clean room with great bathroom / shower. The room had it's own independent entrance with easy access to village centre. The staff were very welcoming & friendly. Breakfast was good with all the usual croissants, bread & preserves etc. plus meat & cheese & excellent coffee.
All in all a good overnight stop.
