Staff is absolutely pleasant, the room is very comfortable, and the situation of the apartment is very good, near to the Stradun. Highly recommended. -

There were white bread, toast, marmalade, honey, cheese, turkey(?), yogurt, juice, coffee and tea on the breakfast so you get something to eat if you're not used to have vegetables or fruit in -
Location is great if you don't mind few steps and if you don't have a car. Everything else is spot on - clean, good wifi connection, free use of computer/books/dvd's/games, free tea/coffee/local liquors, generous breakfast and friendly stuff

The villa is up some steps from the old town. We felt that it offered a peaceful setting out of the centre of town, and when we were there the air felt fresher higher up as there was a slight breeze. The hostess was very friendly and the villa was attractive and clean. We were offered fresh produce from the garden and an excellent breakfast. For those unable to climb the steps, it's possible to get a cable car up from town to a short walk away from the villa

Duska and her husband were very helpful both prior to our trip and also during our trip advising of items inside the apartment and asking if we required anything during our stay. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with all mod cons including very good wifi.
The location was amazing, just off the Stradun and no steps to the front door! The apartment was on the 1st floor. It has recently been fitted with triple glazed windows which keeps the apartment silent at night.

The transportation from Dubrovnik Airport to Villa Erna and the other way round was nice and easy. The owners and other staff were very friendly and helpul. The pool was quite small but our boys (9,11) loved it. Our apartment was quite large, comfortable and clean - the cleaning lady did a good job every day! (And the city of Dubrovnik itself was lovely; I think we´ll be back.. :) )

The villa is in a good location for exploring Dubrovnik and the surrounding area, especially if you have a car. There is a lovely coastal walk just a minutes walk from the villa, and loads of places to swim or watch the cruise boats coming in and out of the port. If you climb up the garden at the back of the pool there are wonderful views over the port and bridge. The old town is a short bus or taxi ride away. Everything about Hotel Lapad was first class. We arrived very early off the ferry from Bari, Italy - they stored our luggage and set us on the bus to the Old Town, which left every 10 mins from outside the hotel! The staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were elegant, immaculate and quiet. Their bar/terrace area was delightful and the restaurant was absolutely top notch. Željko was a wonderful host. We arrived late in the evening and he took time to walk us to a good restaurant short walk from the apartment, we ended up coming here two more times with friends, great food and value for money. The location of the apartment was excellent, 5 min walk from the main beach, right next to the bus station to The Old Town and a Taxi rank. This was our third stay in Dubrovnik and I can honestly say that we enjoyed staying outside of the hustle and bustle of the Old Town,
