Staff were friendly and helpful and remembered our names as we left and re-entered the Hotel. Our room was comfortable and quiet, the walk-in shower was excellent. The suite was very clean, kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The bed was very comfortable. Glad we paid a little extra and got the suite with the balconies and fireplace. Location was easy access to water taxi, or a good walk over the bridge to get to Granville .Island. Granville Street was very close too, we walked it every night. It had many pubs and stores. Police were present, we always felt safe.

In room laundry facilities was a God-send, after spending weeks in coin-op laundries. Location is fantastic - there is an excellent Chinese restaurant on the same block (Dynasty) and an excellent coffee roaster almost directly opposite. 10-15 minutes walk to the centre of bustling Robson St. Complimentary parking is something rarely offered in Vancouver and this place had it. Large selection of bicycle hire companies 100m away to allow you to take in the vast dedicated bicycle paths around

I liked that Skwachays provides residences for aboriginal artists and has a fair trade art gallery displaying aboriginal artwork. I liked the art installation on the front sidewalk. I found the room to be comfortable, safe and in easy walking distance of restaurants.

I will definitely be back to Lord Stanley Suites next time I come again to Vancouver. Everything was so good. Staff was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay in Lord Stanley Suites. I would like to take this opportunity to thank David who has become a buddy to my 5 yr old son. My son wont forget the high fives he did with David. As I was writing an exam on the UBC campus early the following morning I loved the fact I could just walk from the hotel to the venue and not have to deal with parking, etc. I also enjoyed the clean, modern and comfortable suite and the fact it provided a quiet environment conducive to studying. All in all it was excellent value and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for anyone wishing to stay in close proximity to the campus.

Every thing. Easy 5 minutes to train or a nice 1/2hr walk to Downtown. Beautiful walk along the sea wall to Granville Island and it's markets. Shopping and eateries to suit all budgets close at hand.

The Holiday Inn Vancouver-Centre Broadway offers a clean, functional hotel for travelers to Vancouver who are seeking a reasonably priced, in-town location and who do not need to stay in the more fashionable and expensive West End of Vancouver. The hotel has a pleasant bar and a serviceable eatery and is adjacent to multiple restaurants (particularly offering various Asian cuisines). The staff is very friendly.
