Stayed 2 nights in May but unfortunately it rained most of the time, but
we didn't let that spoil our stay too much! The view from the suite
is breathtaking over looking the inlet. The beaches are close by but you
need a daily park pass of $19.60 for a family, however the owners
provide you with an annual pass for your stay which we didn't
expect.

We loved the location, the view from our suite, the view across the road, the easy access to the Wild Pacific Trail, and the closeness to Long Beach. We found our hosts to be extremely helpful, and would gladly stay at Cygnet Cove Suites again.

Luxurious oasis overlooking the water...a restful pied-à-terre to discover Victoria and the Island. Our stay felt more like a visit to a friend's country manor. Wonderful dining options - fab chef! And the personnel is consistently friendly and helpful (thank you Caitlyn!)
Will be 'our place' whenever on the Island.

We stayed at the Fish Cabin at Browns Resort. Excellent facility. New cabin with a porch overlooking the water and marina. Clean. Full kitchen. We will stay there again. -

This is a very nice, modern Best Western property. The attention to detail including the pet treats and wipes in the lobby is a very nice touch and makes pet owners feel very welcome. The hot breakfast buffet offered a large variety of options beyond the common selection seen at most hotels. -

The views! Awesome view of the ocean and the surfers trying to catch the right wave. Huge room with balcony seemed so private and quiet in this fairly busy place. Staff: warm, friendly, helpful, engaging...couldn't ask for better.
Food in hotel restaurant: amazing! Menu is unique, tantalizing, creative...truly a gourmet delight. The breakfast is perfect!
Accommodations: impeccable, clean, quiet, comfortable, luxurious...and we could leave the windows open for fresh sea breeze.
Location: remote enough to be unspoiled, close to marvellous trails and beaches.

The host and hostess were charming and thoughtful. The locale beautiful, and the deck was a lovely relaxing spot. We loved being able to walk the spit from the cottages. -

This is a first class luxury establishment. I stayed in Suite #302, which had a wraparound deck overlooking the harbour/bay of Sooke. It was beautiful. This luxury hotel offers everything the discriminating traveller expects.
And the location is......perfect!
I rarely give 5 stars...this hotel/resort is 6! -

First and foremost, the staff treated us excellently. We had a problemwith our first room, it had a smell like someone had been smoking. Thestaff checked vacancies and moved us to an upgrade without hesitation,then followed up to make sure we were happy in our new surroundings. -We had a very comfortable, clean room with a fantastic view of the harbour.
-The front desk staff were very knowledgeable of the restaurants within walking distance of the hotel and what they served. One restaurant they recommended was Nautical Nellies. Our meal there was excellent.

The staff were super friendly and very accommodating. We had our 13 year old yellow Lab with us and the staff were very attentive and kind to her. The room was super clean, and comfortable. The breakfast had lots of choice and the food was really good. The cinnamon buns were great! We would choose to stay here again. Also enjoyed the river walkway

discount coupons as well (including 15% off Whitespot). There was a
decent size pool and a waterslide which my four year old loved. The Hot
tub and pool and area were all really clean which is often so rare. The
room was quiet and clean and the breakfast was actually quite tasty!

We arrived fairly late and had a bite to eat and a drink in the pub downstairs. Very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.
Beds very comfortable and quiet during the night. We had been concerned about city noise but was very peaceful!

I really liked how they stored my suitcase before check in so I could do my work and same thing after I checked out. I didn't have to pack my luggage to a business meeting. Also the convenience of the location being right downtown Victoria almost next to the museum and archives was a tremendous bonus. I liked how they put me in a room on the 14th floor which gave me the best views ever.
