We got one of the 5th floor rooms, which meant it was really quiet. It also meant 5 flights of narrow stairs. Of course, since it's a historical building (like much of Quebec City) building codes prevent the addition of elevators, so this is par for the course. Beautifully reno'd room and bathroom, though the ceiling was a bit low due to the angle of the roof. Close to lots of nearby shopping and restaurants in the old city (and the lower old city, too, which was a bit cheaper).

I was worried by some of the recent reviews, but my room was clean and
comfortable. The breakfast is typical for a hotel continental breakfast.
The staff was very pleasant and accommodating to our requests. -

I enjoyed use of the hot tub, though the hot tub could have been on a warmer temperature. Interestingly, maybe you folks up in Quebec can handle cold better than heat, I just left it at that. - The staff was very friendly, and the English speaking staff were eager to help the French speaking staff while communicating with us.

My flight was delayed and I arrived very late and the hotel staff was
kind enough to stay up and wait for me to arrive, then carried my 38 lb
bag up three flights of stairs to my room. The following day after I
checked out the staff allowed me to leave my bags at the hotel while I
shopped and had lunch, then called a cab to take me to the cruise port.
Everyone was extremely nice and helpful and I enjoyed my stay and hope
to return for another stay in the future.

loved our spacious room with bath. Loved the included breakfast, loved the helpful staff. The person who checked me in changed our room from a 3rd floor to a 2nd floor without me even asking. As I am 66, that was a big help. ALso liked the entertainment that happened while we were there a Celtic festival in the theatre. -

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were contemporary, cleanand with everything you need. The bathrooms were fantastic. Location isamazing very near to old town and chateau frontenac, lots of nicerestaurants nearby. - The location is wonderful. You can walk out the door and every thing is within a five minute walk. The beds seemed new and nice, very good night there - very convenient for visiting the old city, it was a 15 min bus ride away and it dropped you right at the old walls.
