  Stayed in many hotels in Plovdiv. Novotel is by far the best. The upper floors has a nice city view. The receptionists were very helpful. - Good position. Friendly, informative front-desk staff. Nice design and amenities. OK value for money if you catch a discount.

  Nice centrally located hotel, close to the railway station. The city center is not far away. The staff is polite, especially the receptionist who met me later in the evening when I arrived (I think - George).   We booked a regular double room for 6 nights, but got an upgrade for the suite instead (no extra charge!) due to room planning issues. The suite was lovely. One staff member speaks french quite well, the other staff members a little english. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Clean large room ( room with 8 windows!), large bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic with choice of cooked, fruit or selection of cold meats, cheeses, yogurts etc.
