  The location & general situation of the hotel were superb, the food was excellent, and the staff worked very hard to accommodate us.   Stayed in many hotels in Plovdiv. Novotel is by far the best. The upper floors has a nice city view. The receptionists were very helpful. - Good position. Friendly, informative front-desk staff. Nice design and amenities. OK value for money if you catch a discount.

  Loved the visit to Plovdiv. Very nice old city. Hotel was in a good location. Staff were very friendly and were able to help me organise my onward journey to Istanbul. Facilities in the hotel were good. I used the gym, restaurant and lobby bar. I'd recommend a visit to the History Museum in addition to visting the old town. Perhaps if they were paying the full rack rate for the rooms they might feel they were getting poor value for money. My room was excellent - but not perfect - and offered great views over to the Roman amphitheatre in the distance. Recommended.
