We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Argus apartments. The staff couldn't do enough for you, the apartments were well appointed, clean, modern and spacious. They are a 10 minute walk to the Waterfront precinct one way and 10 minutes the other direction to the city and buses, perfect. We had a great stay there. -

Though I booked standard room for 3 days long ago,when I arrived later afternoon,I was told the Hotel was fully booked. But the managment have arranged me a very good 2 Bed new apartment near Esplanade at no extra cost.I have minimal contact with the Hotel staff but that was courteous and friendly. -

We've stayed there a few times - some for work and some personal. We have enjoyed the facilities/wining and dining and always found staff more than helpful. We have spent time in the pool which is welcoming and clean. LOVE the new block and especially the art in the new block. I purchased the "Lasseters Collection" art book. -

It was in a good position and easy to get to places we wanted to see.Our first time to Darwin and we loved it. The only drawback is that the accommodation is too expensive. -

We had 2 days in a unit with an excellent view of Stokes Hill wharf, and 1 day in a 'city view' room, which was significantly smaller, but still very acceptable. Only a 10 minute walk to the city centre, but there was a lot of facilities (tourism, eating) nearby. -

On our first two nights our room fire alarm went off for no reason. We reported the problem the next morning and it was fixed within a couple of hours.

Majority of staff were friendly and helpful.
I requested a cot for my 6 month old daughter upon booking the room and it wast forgotten about (most hotels forget this).
Valet parking was excellent and staff were available and helpful when i needed an extra hand to put pram and baby in the car.

Reception made us feel very welcome and accommodated our afternoon
flight with a 1pm check out. The bed was very comfortable. We also
appreciated the cold water in our vehicle when we collected it each day.

Loved teh new part, but next time we want to stay on a ground floor apartment of the new lagoon area. Our Kids really enjoyed it. We would love to stay in one of the studios one day, but believe it would be just too expensive for us, but WOW they looked fantastic -

welcome! Pool has a bar attached. Solid 4-star accomodation. -
Facilities were great! Very clean room, spacious, and had a comfy bed.I had a view of the waterfront and wharf area which was beautiful. Walking distance to restaurants and shops, and tourist attractions like the Wharf, parks and harbour area. Staff polite and friendly.Will certainly stay there again.
