Craig, the manager, was a treat and very helpful. The hotel is within walking distance of terrific views of the Opera House and Harry's Cafe de Wheels. They have a handout that provides lots of tips about how to get around Sydney and things to do while in town. It was our first trip to Sydney and we only could stay one day before heading to Tonga, but we will return someday for a longer stay and would definitely consider staying at Mariners Court again.

Owners Jason & Tanya were very friendly and excellent hosts. They could not do enough for my wife and myself during our 6 day stay at their motel. It's just off the Kings Cross wasn't noisy at all. Downstairs in both sides super cute n very friendly little coffee shops with excellent service n superb breakfast. Hotel it self was smaller so not overcrowded clean nice decor with small kitchen n basic provided. Staff in reception very helpful always polite.

We where looking for a motel in this area as a stop over from Sydney to
Melbourne, after we visited the Blue mountains in the afternoon. The
Colonial Lodge is a perfect stop for this. The rooms and the bath was
refurbished and we had everything we need. Everything was perfect clean
and the parking is just in front of the rooms. The owners are really
friendly an help out with every information you would need.

We liked the fact that the staff permitted us to use the shower and store our belongings prior to check in. We had arrived in Sydney from Darwin at 6am and could not check in until 2pm that day so we really appreciated the shower to freshen up.

amazing: 5 minutes walk from Darling Harbour and the Star Casino! Our
room was fairly big, hence the fact, I cannot understand people
complaining on their reviews about the size of their room (maybe I was
just lucky?!). The shared bathroom worked just fine, after all, nobody
goes on a trip to stay closed in a bathroom do they?

We were very impressed with the helpful staff, all very friendly and they supplied a lovely full breakfast in the dining room and in our room we also had a microwave and items to be zapped in it were available for purchase at the office. We entered our room it had the heating on and was lovely and warm and very comfortable the whole time. It is about 15 mins walk (with luggage) from the Katoomba Railway Station and very convenient to shops and all facilities.

Location was close to North Shore Private Hospital, the reason for our visit, but also close to public transport for other purposes. There was adequate free parking, not always the case in Sydney. The staff were extremely helpful and the restaurant served great food for breakfast and dinner.
