We had a spa room because we had our 6mth old baby so the kitchenette with microwave & bath was a necessity. Proximity to central Albury, great location for mid stop between Melbourne & Sydney.

Probably one of the best Ibis Budget hotels in Australia. Super clean,
friendly staff and comfortable beds. Free parking and free tea and
coffee until 10pm. Great value for money option. -
We have used this chain before and as usual we were not disappointed. They are always clean, well positioned and have excellent staff.

I liked the ground floor gardens and plants. A credit to the owner who I spoke to.
I also enjoyed the breakfasts and it was of very high standard. The motel is an older one which was built in 1985. However the room was lovely and comfortable and the bed was excellent. All in all I was most pleased. Thank you. -

what I liked was the fact is was so intimate there was never more than five people in the pools. The room was spacious with front and back doors. Back door led to grassed area beside Mehi River. 2 artesian spas and 1 swimming pool were just perfect for relaxing. We did not have to venture away to have the artesian experience. The restaurant was very good. The food was outstanding. The staff were also outstanding - we were made to feel very welcome and nothing was a problem.

With a change of plans we were readily accommodated with a change of
rooms. The staff went out of their way to ensure everything was to our
liking and then left us alone to enjoy our stay. I would highly
recommend the Golden Sands to anyone. It is around the corner from the

We were allowed in to the room we had booked early which was very much appreciated. The room itself was basic which is what we ordered. We dont travel and use Motels very much , however we were comfortable.

Staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Very affordable if you are looking for a no frills cheap room. There was no closet, small fridge or ironing in the room. The latter is available in the laundry room. Is surrounded by fast food outlets and close enough to drive to the city and shopping centers. -

Friendly and helpful owners providing us with an immaculate well equiped room on the first floor overlooking the river with an extensive view. Evening meal available in the Pelican Restaurant which was freshly cooked and good value,a good breakfast also provided and included in the room cost .
Thoroughly recommended.

Staff were exceptionally helpful, and looked after us very well, especially when we left behind some luggage and they helped us out to get it back. Room was large and comfortable. Restaurant was well-priced and good, simple food. -

Nice modern linen even though old fashioned (yet well appointed) rooms. Warm on freezing night, good TV. It was great to have breakfast as part of package (in dining room) and late check out (10am). Relaxed and very enjoyable stay
Had great BBQ facilities and the simple things like "Mugs"plates n knives n forks is a real pleasure. -
We had a family of 6 staying in the one room. There were two main sleeping areas plus a fold out couch. The sleeping areas were very private.
