Location!!!! It was extremely convenient. Opera house was a 2-minute walk away. Both the train and ferry stations were at the hotel's doorstep. All staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend it. -
I loved the view, and the good sized balcony. I loved that there was extra milk in the fridge, most places I always have to ask for more, though there wasn't enough sugar (we are big coffee drinkers). The spa didn't work so they gave us free dinner in the restaurant as a compromise, loved that! oh and the bottle of bubbly sent up to the room after i mentioned we were celebrating my hubby's 60th birthday was just lovely, thank you! :) very happy

Sunday -
Our apartment with full kitchen, laundry and enormous bath was perfect for our family. It immediately felt homely with the bonus of comforts and amenities of a top class resort. The rainforest boardwalk was a joy to explore and the hotel was a convenient 5 minute drive to the town centre, or a 10 minute stroll to Tallow Beach. Complementary morning yoga on the verandah was also a lovely way to start the day. The staff were a stand-out; consistently pleasant and helpful throughout our stay.

The penthouse apartment we stayed in was really nice, everything was quite new and the staff were really friendly. The bluetooth speaker dock was a really nice touch and made our stay better with music. harbor, the services available in room, laundry service was perfect,
breakfast was amazing because of the variety of food that was available
(asian, european, hot/cold), certainly not the cheapest hotel in
town but worthwhile every cent -

Richard & myself were impressed with the presentation of all the
staff. They were always friendly and courteous with a smile on their
face. The two young porters or concierges went out of their way to look
after us, even suggesting places to see and dine at outside the resort.

Our room was beautiful. Our dinner in the dining room was excellent, the fireplaces, the overall ambiance of the public and guest rooms was inviting and comfortable. We'll be back for our 1st Anniversary in July 2014. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to getaway and enjoy a relaxing peaceful environemnt with excellent service and great food.
