The location in Lamington National Park and excellent trails, informative signs and friendly birds made it a 'must see' place. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked last minute while traveling down the coast. The location is sensational and the view from our room was really great. We were travelling with our 2 year old son and a cot was made available to us without any problems. The staff was really helpfull and friendly. Dinner in the Restaurant was also very good. Lamington national Park is a beatiful place and while we only could see little in the 2 days we had we were quite amazed by the area.

Had great BBQ facilities and the simple things like "Mugs"plates n knives n forks is a real pleasure. -
We had a family of 6 staying in the one room. There were two main sleeping areas plus a fold out couch. The sleeping areas were very private.

we liked the off the street parking and very central to the shops and clubs. also we both have bad backs and we were put on the ground floor for this reason, so we didn't have to lug cases up the stairs. thankyou -

The motel was more beautiful that I even imagined. The desk clerk said they are still doing renos, but we stayed in a room we were very happy with, so I'm not sure where they are actually doing the renos. Rooms are small, but no more that most. The hotel was close to the town centre and venues we needed to be, without any noise. We had a lovely outlook onto the farm lands to the north of the township. Our Executive room was spacious and there was lots of parking available.

We enjoyed our stay, we slept well, the unit was clean and Neville couldn't do enough for us. We enjoyed seeing all the birds congregate in the central area first thing in the morning. All in all it was great stay!!!! -

Off the usual wine track but still close.
It was nice and quiet and liked that the balcony was private and not looking into another. Loved the Bush Outlook.

I am a regular visitor to Merimbula because I like the Fish Pen locatin and weather in January. I chose the Black Dolphin resort because it offered all we required in accomodation, at a very fair rate.
The appartment was clean, comfortable and quiet. A great view from the balcony and adequate parking.

We loved how close everything was and the park was a hit with or children. There was plenty of room inside when it rained, so the kids didn't climb the wall. The beach was picture perfect, can't comment enough on the villa and the location. LOVED IT -
