  The staff were exceptional, the rooms were amazing and the bed was extremely comfortable. Even walking into the reception and smelling the beautiful scent of the burning candles was such a lovely experience. I ended up staying for 2 nights as I had scored a free night through the overstay program!   We loved it, kids had a great time. We had 2 inter-connecting rooms that were great. Public spaces were excellent lots of room for the kids to run around when they felt the need. The Merchant restaurant located in the building is fabulous a real gem. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Family vote - voted it our favorite Melbourne stay. - I found the room to be at an excellent standard, and the staff, including the front desk, room service and ground floor staff, to be friendly and approachable. The breakfast and room service food was excellent and of a high quality. I also found the amenties within the room fantastic, especially the wonderful king size bed. This was my second stay and I will continue to stay there for any future visits.
