  It was very handy for were we needed to be close too.   Spent the final two nights in Perth at Pier 21 (Executive 1-room apartment). I must say that it's the best decision we made. Right after the booking online, I was contacted shortly by Pier 21 directly to confirm the booking. The hotel is caddy corner from a public parking lot that charges $7aud for all day parking. The hotel is a short walk from many restaurants, cafes, and shops (including a Coles). We had the room with a spa tub; the bathroom had a tub, a separate shower, toilet - I booked to stay at the Esplanade Hotel as a surprise for my partners birthday, we could not have been happier with everything, in particular the staff at the reception desk as well as the concierge were extremely polite and helpful. I will definitely recommend the hotel to friends and family! Thank you for a great weekend!!
