The Wilderness Retreat is in a wonderful location, near(ish) to the entrance to the fabulous Flinders Chase National Park and near the Hanson Bay Wildlife Sanctuary (don't miss the Koalas there). You don't have much choice when going to Kangaroo island. This place gave us everything we're going to get: wildlife just as close as your door, comfortable house to have a rest after several hours in the car, even a kitchen and BBQ.
All directions are quite close (just remember - the island is large itself!).

the best camping ever, eating with kangaroos and koalas is just amazing!!you can also have a walk in a lagoon very close to the camping...with beatiful spots.
